Sizing

Please use the chart seen below as a size guide. As I am only a one woman shop, I currently only offer XS-L sizing and I am working on expanding these options for the near future! Choose your usual size!! If you think you are between sizes I would reccommend choosing a size up. Or if you are really unsure you can send me a message with your measurements and I would be happy to help. Coverage is customizable, just add it to the additional info section in your cart before checking out.



Custom Orders

As Gitgo swimwear is a made to order swimwear line we also offer customizations to already existing pieces. If you find you like a specific piece but you want to tweak it to better fit your personal style - send us a message prior to ordering and we would be happy to help you out. For example, longer/shorter straps, more/less coverage in bum, ect. And the best part is these small customizations come at no extra cost!



Eco Friendly / Sustainability

Sustainability has always been one of my personal values, and my goal is to make Gitgo Company as sustainable as it can be. We currently use sustainable fabrics made from econyl, recycled nylon. Econyl rescues nylon waste that is otherwise polluting our earth. Things such as fishing nets and fabric scraps are collected and then repurposed back into their original purity to be used again and again. Aside from moving to sustainably sourced materials, I pride myself on being a part of the entire bikini making process from start to finish. Everything from the design process to manufacturing of the product is done by me. I make each swimsuit to order to avoid waste and then turn the leftover fabric into other items such as scrunchies and hair ties. Care Instructions

How to take care of your gitgo bikini… Hand Wash in cold, soapy water after each use. Use a mild detergent to preserve the colour of the fabric Lay flat to dry out of direct sunlight to avoid colour fading Rinse well after wearing in salt water or chlorine The fabric is salt water and chlorine safe, however, following these steps will help preserve your swimwear for a longer lifespan



Processing Times

Each Gitgo bikini is created after you place your order. They are each handmade with your specific requests in mind! Please allow an average of 10-15 days for your item to be cut, sewn and packaged for delivery. Processing times may vary, however, if anything changes from the timeframe above I will contact you directly to inform you of the situation. If you need your order before a specific date please send me a message prior to ordering! or add our rushed order/shipping to your cart at checkout.



Shipping

Canadian Shipping: All domestic parcels are shipped via Canada Post. Please allow 5-10 business days from when your parcel is shipped to delivery. Packages include tracking! All shipping orders within under $129 CAD (3 swimsuit pieces) are subjected to a $10 flat rate shipping fee International Shipping: International parcels are shipped via Canada Post/your domestic postal service. Please allow 5+ business days once your order is shipped for delivery (may take longer due to customs) International orders also include tracking! All international shipping orders under $129 CAD (3 swimsuit pieces) are subjected to a $15 flat rate shipping fee PLEASE NOTE! All delivery times are estimates and can not be garunteed!



Returns & Exchanges

Because Gitgo Company is a made to order swimwear line we do not accept returns. All other inquiries can be sent to gitgocompany@gmail.com and we can discuss the situation further :)



Cost Breakdown

A lot goes in to making each bikini piece. When I say hand made I mean 100% hand made. I do everything from cutting the fabric, sewing the pieces, adding the details such as labels, packaging them, all the way to shipping them out. As you know, materials cost money. I use high quality fabrics to ensure a longer lifespan of your swimsuit. The fabric is made from Econyl recycled nylon and is very soft with very vibrant colours. There is also other costs that go into materials such as, thread, lining that goes inside each suit, elastic, packaging matrials, labels, and not to mention the time and care that goes into each one. I also absorb any shipping costs that exceed the $10 flat rate charge. Which usually applies to every order. This is also a small business, not a factory. I am a one woman shop and I put a lot of my time and effort into this. I appreciate everyone who understands and has been supporting me through my journey!!
